That's so exciting! I'm proud of you!
I am by no means a runner... I've never understood the appeal, but today I started to wonder if maybe I just haven't gone about it the right way... Thinking about trying to do the C25K program! Not sure yet, but I think it would be a really neat thing to try!

Oh, that's just great! Don't worry about only jogging for a little while...as long as you're doing it, that's amazing! Pretty soon you'll be able to jog longer and longer...I know that's what I'm working towards. Congrats...and keep it up!

Lol. Your post cracked me up. This is so me. I STILL haven't tried it at the gym...I'm afraid other will complain about the huge pounding noise I will no doubt make! Thanks for this post, I just might try it now that I know I'm not alone.

Great job! I know how you feel, though. I have always been afraid to try jogging or running at the gym beucase of what other people will think. But yesterday I actually made a committment to myself that I am going to go for it. WHO CARES what they think!!!
Reading your post made me feel even better about it. Thanks girl!

Congrats on your success! I have been doing C25K, this is about my 4th time to start it and I have never actually made it to a 5K. I run outside, treadmills frusturate me because I have to knowingly change my pace and that is a downer for me especially when I have another mile to run . As a former college athlete, I guess I am lucky I have never had a fear of gyms or the people in them. I figure everyone is in there for the same purpose, to be healthy and look nice.

Congrats on conquering your gym treadmill fear.
