First, I am so very glad to have found this site. The encouragement and sharing of like experiences has been awesome already. I started out on 01.01.10 at 185 lbs with the goal of slimming down to 135 by July 4th...50 lbs *gulp*!
I've been taking it just one pound at a time, but seeing all of these mini-goals made me think that this is a much better option. At 171, I set my own mini-goal: to be in the 160s by the end of March. I am thrilled to report that I am down to 168, as of today. I checked the scale three times to be sure I was reading it correctly!!!
My new goal is to be out of the 160s by the end of April...159.9 will do!
