So I'm not big on buying "goal clothes", because I feel like it might jinx me or something. That being said, a little over a month ago, my favorite women's sportswear company was having a warehouse sale where they got rid of all the things that they couldn't sell in the store (common reasons: worn, worn and washed, smells funny, etc.). I needed hiking pants, but I couldn't afford any, so I took a leap and bought 4 pairs (for under $50; one pair is usually $80+)- one that fit (size 12), one in a size 10, and two in size 8.
The size 12s have been fitting basically perfectly- not enough room to warrant trying the 10s. However, the 12s are "winter" pants, and the 10s are "summer" pants, and it is getting way too warm here to keep wearing the 12s. So today I said a little prayer and tried on the 10s... and they fit! Okay, so they're a little tight in the hips (appearance wise, not comfort wise), but I don't need to look nice when I'm hiking, I just need to cover my legs.
I'm so excited!
