Thumbs up 1st Weigh-In, Lost 10 Pounds

I meet with my dietitian this morning. We were both very pleased to see that I lost 10 lbs. As an added bonus, my blood glucose numbers for the week greatly impressed my endocrinologist. So much so, that he said it was okay for me to stop taking my metformin. I am so jazzed right now. As a treat to myself, I am going to buy a new pair of walking shoes. (Chicks aren't the only ones who like to shop for shoes, you know. ) I thought I'd share my first baby step towards my goal with you all. I have read many inspirational and motivating posts here and wanted to give back a little.
