I'm new here and already love this forum!
About two months ago I decided to take the weight I need to lose (40 pounds) and instead of looking at it as one lump amount, to divide it into ten pound increments. Now instead of thinking of 40 pounds to lose, I think of 10 pounds.
It has been working well for me. I'm a slow loser but that is okay. I've lost the first ten pounds and now am working on the second ten pounds. I'm so excited to see that my weight is coming off.
