I haven't posted in a while, but just wanted to share with everyone that yesterday at the gym (yes, I went..yay me!) I managed to run a full mile on the treadmill! Took me 12 minutes which in honesty is a step up from HS where I was about 30 lbs heavier and at that time took me about 14 mins or so to run that full mile in PE class.
I really want to get my time down to around 9 or 10 minutes, so guess I'll have to start running everyday. Anyway I'm proud of that 12 minute mile mainly because I outran my roommate who is about 80 lbs heavier than me.
Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.
