Default 15 big ones, and back to "normal"

I've slipped back into the "normal" range after 5 months and 15 pounds! Many thanks to the 3FC community for the food tips (y'all do some absolutely amazing things to vegetables!!!) , and the nonstop mantra that this time, it's gotta be a lifestyle change and not just a diet. 3 pounds a month on average is not going to set any records ... BUT ... I learned to not freak at a 3 week stall, I learned to NEVER give up, and I learned that it just doesn't take that long or that much space to write down what I eat every day.

I'm not sure where the goal will settle - I feel about halfway to where I want to be. The next set of targets are just functional - run 5K without walking, touch my toes, and work on all my posture muscles.

Thanks again for being here - it is such a joy and motivator to come here and see real people succeeding!

Way to go!

Just be careful about announcing that you're normal now I told my brother the day I reached BMI 24.9, and he turned to his wife and said, "Did you hear that? Julie's normal now."

Congratulations, that's awesome that you've stuck to it and it paid off! Reading your post was exactly what I needed to remind myself that my own 3-week stall will eventually pass!

Thanks to all, again!!
Dancer, the celebration is all inside - I'm enjoying a big sense of relief about crossing back over the threshold, and the disappearance of the "poor me" attitude. Not to say I won't be getting a massage in the near future ... lol!
Star, it happens when it happens! Even when the scale is not moving, the good diet choices and the exercise are working to improve long-term health. It's totally a win-win on multiple fronts. Looks like from your ticker that you're already well on your way - even if the scale never moves again, you will have changed your health destiny!
