It's been a long, hard, 30-pound journey but I finally went down a size!
This morning I did my daily weigh-in and I'm unoffically down 30 pounds. It won't be official until next Friday because that's my weigh-in day. I'm sure my fellow chicks are getting sick of hearing me complain that I was still in a size 18. I noticed this week that my jeans are getting baggy and my work pants are about ready to fall off, so I went shopping today and came home with:
Jeans (size 16)
Dress (size 16--adorable, but will be going back because it over-emphasizes the girls and is too short (darn these legs))
White capris (size 14W!!!!)
Cute white t-shirt (size L)
White top for work (size XL)
Green print sleeveless top with tie--GORGEOUS. ( Size XL--it might need to go be exchanged for the L because it looks big under the arms). I love this top so much I might actually let you all see a pic of me in it.
Pink tank with small ruffles, size XL
It sounds like a lot but everything was on sale. I didn't find any work pants because I was kind of focused on stuff for my upcoming class reunion.
I am so relieved that I can finally see a difference! Another poster today mentioned that dressing in too big of clothing can hide our progress, even from ourselves and she is so right.
Keep going! We can do this!
