Default Agh! I need to buy new clothes

I was trying on some of my clothes today and realised that they dont really fit me... like, they arent masively baggy but they make me look fat. I suppose its good that i have to buy new clothes, the fact that ive lost weight. It funny cuz i had this polo shirt from when i was about 13, and i tried it on the other day and its an absolute perfect fit for me...funny. My 34 jeans are becoming a bit loose and my 36 jeans are massive... my pyjamas dont even fit me anymore, nowhere near..

So i should go shopping, but what if i lose even more weight and then have to go shopping again...

I was telling my husband last night that I need to go shopping yet again. All of my larges are too large. Time to get into mediums. I say go for it, just buy a SMALL wardrobe if you plan on losing more. I don't know if I will get under 150, and last time I was there I was still in mediums, so I think I'm safe with buying a few things

You have done so well I think you should reward yourself with at least one thing. I know what your saying, my close were getting so that I felt they were making me look frumpy. I buy quite a few of my in between weights clothes at thrift stores. Then when I lose some more I just donate them back. Congrats on your new 'problem'.

Could you go to a second hand store and get some until you hit goal? I dont know about where you are, but where I live, there are a lot of nice consignment store with practically new clothes for very little money.

Congrats on the too baggy clothes, that is wonderful.

I have gone through so many sizes since January. In the beginning I bought lots of new clothes when I had lost like 20-40 pounds. I was so excited to be smaller, and I really had no idea that I'd lose this much. I ended up only wearing them for a few weeks. It was frustrating. Then I started borrowing clothes from my sister and friends, now I'm smaller than they are. I guess I need to get smaller friends... just kidding.

My new strategy is to hit the sales racks. I especially like Old Navy. You can find lots of things for $10 or less. So now I just buy one or two pairs of pants everytime I need a new size. Tops I buy less frequently because I've always preferred baggy shirts anyway.

In some ways it's very fun trying on smaller sizes every month, but it's very expensive. At least we're not buying bigger sizes! It's a problem, but I can't think of any other problem I'd rather have!

I want to save my money so I can buy a fabulous new wardrobe when I reach my goal.

I like Old Navy too, and Kohl's, but I don't know what he has over in Ireland The worst part about shopping for new clothes is having to pay for them!

I love Goodwill and thrift stores. You have to search around to find a good one - but it is so worth it when you go through multiple wardrobes!!

I go and buy clothes at a thrift shop, then donate them back when they get too big. I call it ' clothes rental' LOL!

I am lucky in that I have a lot of friends, family and coworkers giving me clothes. I had to get a brand-new pair of uniform pants from my company, get them hemmed, and only wore them for about a week because by the time they arrived, I was ready for a smaller size. Right now I'm wearing old pants from my coworkers.

I like to get a few new things, when places like Reitman's has a sale. I got a nice new t-shirt for $5 which will be too big before too long. Winter is coming and I think I'll have to go to a thrift store to get a coat, I don't want to spend too much on something I'll have for only one winter...

So I understand what you're saying, ih8diets, losing weight can be a blessing and a "curse" in some ways...
