I haven't seen a weight change in a while, although I can totally see physical changes from all the working out I've been doing. And today I put on a pair of 30-inch waist jeans and they were too big; I couldn't even secure them with a belt (it was a large belt; maybe I need to buy medium belts from now on).
It was such a confidence booster that I decided to bust out the measuring tape for the first time ever in my weight-loss process. The last time I took my measurements was a year or so ago, and the only one I recall was that I formerly had a 36-inch waist. Well, according to the measuring tape, I am now 36-29-41. I'm almost a brick house!
It's weird, too, because I remember looking at my upper torso and thinking it was already pretty lean and that I wouldn't be able to get it much smaller. Yay for being wrong!
