Finally, I got rid of the weight I had regained

  • The scales gave me a happy gift this morning: I weighed in at 62 kgs (that's 136.7 lbs, but let's say 137, since the ticker won't take it into account anyway). Which means I've lost every single pound I had gained back in the past two years. It sort of makes me 'clean' again regarding my whole weight loss journey. My mini-goal of the past weeks was to lose those pesky 9 lbs., so I'm pretty glad I've managed to do that.

Yes, that was really a mini-goal, but it makes me happy all the same.
  • Congratulations, Kery! That's a huge achievement!
  • Wow well done Kerry!!! What a fantabulous job... do we get any pics lol.
  • Aw, thank you.

Pics, er, sure... when I actually have the money to buy a digital camera. (I know I could buy a regular, single-use camera, but I prefer to save up for a couple of months more and get something really nice--that'll be a good weight loss reward, too! )
  • That's fabulous! Not only because you got rid of extra weight, but because this would be a great psychological boost. Full steam ahead!
  • Great job.
  • Congratulations on your achievement you have done so well and are an inspirations to others. You must feel on top of the world.

  • Not the top of the world, I reserve that feeling for when I reach my ultimate goal.

But yes, I'm happy! (And oddly enough, contrary to what used to happen in the past, I absolutely don't feel like "I deserve to indulge myself because I've done well", but rather like "I'm going to go on strong and steady now". It's interesting.)
  • Congratulations! And isn't it great to have that "I'm going to keep going strong and steady" feeling!
  • Congratulations!! You will make your ultimate goal with your awesome attitude, no doubt about it!! Way to go!
