I set myself a goal of 20 pounds by Valentine's day when I first started changing my lifestyle on January 2nd of this year. Once I started realizing what my body could do, I changed that 20 pound goal to the 26th of February. Why the 26th? One of my favorite bands in the world is playing here for the first time in years and I get to go and take pictures - right up front. So I wanted to feel great about myself, and today when I stepped on the scale I saw that I was a pound below my goal a week early! It's my first mini-goal and I'm really excited! Not that I'm expecting the lead singer to fall in love with me or anything (though I wouldn't complain...) but it will be nice to feel confident when I'm up there snapping shots!
