Help Me Lose, check out the following site. It gives a gradual program to get you into running. It's called C25K (couch to 5K). I follow this (sort of; I find that I generally run until I feel I need a break, then walk, then pick it up again for as long as I'm comforatble. But I started w/this program; seems to work).

It took me about 7 months to lose the weight. If I go gung-ho I can lose 3 pounds a week, but it's been averaging a pound a week with my occasional laziness and going off the wagon.

I got started running by adapting a marathon training schedule so that it began at 1.5 miles, but the C25K posted above looks like an even more gradual introduction. Good luck!

Hello All!!!

I am setting a March Goal for myself. 3lbs weight loss per week. So, 12 lbs. in all. I am following the life force plan, I am also doing 5x a week Cardio, and as often as possible, Yoga.

So, I plan to weigh 125 by March 30!!!! I will check in once a week on Fridays, to let you know how i do!
