I am a SAHM to 2 little boys 3 and 18 mos. Navy wife and my husband is deployed and is coming back in 2.5 months. I decieded to lose weight during his deployment because during the last one he had lost 40 lbs. And I want for his jaw to drop as mine did when I saw him last time. I excersice 5-6 times a week, mostly cardio, and for the last 2 months I have been on and off doing Nutrasystem. I have done in the beggining of my journey the sacred heart fad diet. It maybe a fad but if you continue working afterwards it is a great way to jump start a diet and detoxify a diet. Also at this point I drink prob 150oz of fluids a day. I hardly eat out, and dont eat late, I dont take any weight loss suppliments. Knowing about foods, and nutrition is key.
Well my weight loss journey began 05/14/06 and I know this is abnormal, but I have been averaging 15 lbs per month. 4 months later and I am down 60 lbs.
I am looking forward to seeing how much more I loose before he comes back. Once I reach goal i will start working more on tonning. Although I am more muscular, and can jog for 4 miles with my double jogging stroller. This is a life style change for me and my family.
