Default 28 lbs lighter...

Hi everyone this has been my first week on 3fc , really enjoying the inspiration and motivation i get from reading your stories . I've been trying to get fitter and healthier since jan 2010 the first pic is from then i was at my heaviest of 214 ish pounds ( 15st 3lbs ) , I started eating healthier , cutting down on all the junk , moving more and eventually jogging and cycling , I completed a 10k for charity in june 2010 , and I'm in training for another one this june . I still have a couple of stone to lose , i'm back on track and pushing towards my goals :0)

I haven't done any particular diet , i've just kept my calories under 1400 a day and tried to eat less fat ,keeping a food diary really helped me , I actually have ended up eating more as i now eat little and often so hunger hasn't really been an issue .
As for exercise i've just been building up slowly increasing from walking on the treadmill to jogging , i try to keep in varied by doing incline work , staionary bike , rowing machine .

I love using my own excess weight as my gym too ( make it earn it's keep ) , so lunges ,squats ,push ups , burpees are all elements of circuits i do , I try to use as many muscle groups as possible each work out , as more muscles burning mean more calories consumed .

I am by no means an expert i've just tried different things and this seems to be working for me , I did fall off the wagon this jan , but i'm back to the second pic weight now and pushing on to get these next 2 stone off (28lbs) .
