Brenley, hehehe, you're probably right. I am suspecting that I will be done and phasing off by the end of April...

Oh, they definitely weigh what they remove! Insurance requires that for a medically necessary reduction, a certain amount must be removed - in my case, it was 441 gms per side. They took 450 off the right and 550 off the left. :-)

You so rock my socks! I converted that to pounds (because I can't think in metric, if that's what grams even are...yes, this is why I teach English and theatre!), and that comes to....over 2 pounds of boobage! Sweet.

Yup! 2.2 lbs to be exact - 1 kilogram to the gram. :-)

Mrs. Dietrich - you are a great inspiration to me. We started about the same time and are about the same size and have a similar goal. I live in Montana so it is nice to also make that connection with someone in the NW.

I also have large breasts and am contemplating reduction surgery. I have a larger chest size than you did and would like to go down to about a C. But I am waiting a bit to see how much I lose when I complete my IP journey. However in college when I weighed 115, I was still a DD so I am thinking surgery will be wanted regardless.

Thanks for sharing!

Hi Heidi! I'm actually a Montana girl myself - we've only been in Spokane for a couple of years. Where in MT are you?

One of the appeals of surgery for me was the lift that I got as well. I'm not a very big person (heaight & bone wise) and I think that my Bs are perfect for me, especially after I finish losing the weight. They look very in proportion to the rest of my body as it is right now. I know that they may get smaller as I lose the last 30 lbs, and I'm completely okay with that. However, I lost MAYBE a 1/2 cup during the first 50 lbs, so I'm not holding my breath. I wouldn't have been able to do it if insurance hadn't paid for it though - I am so grateful that they did! I thought about waiting till after I was done with the program before seeking a consult about it, but realized that insurance would probably not approve it if they got much smaller (and I REALLY wanted the lift). Oh well, it's all said and done and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
