I don't know that I've been following an "official" plan.
For literally the first like two months I wrote own Everything I ate and kept it between 1200 - 1400 calories. Lower in fat, whole grains, fruits, veggies, very balanced. I drank and still don't drink anything but water. Cut out all fast food, minus I eat subway sometimes. I was very strict the first couple months. And I started working out and built it up till I was doing an hour or two of cardio at least like five days a week and weights like once a week or so. Also I started to use resistance bands a lot and go swimming with my grandmother!
After those two months I stopped writing down everything ( and I would write down everything, even if it meant going over). I felt like I had a pretty good grasp on what I could eat together. So far I'm still loosing, albeit not as fast as before, but loosing nonetheless so I think I'm still doing well. Also I do go out again now (I turned 21 in January and bartended before that...so I do like to have a couple drinks now and then :P) usually once a week But that's the only time I drink anything else like juice or whatnot. I'm still working out but I've been pretty lazy the last few weeks (just got done at the gym actually). So I *plan* to continue on this path....we'll see
