Thanks so much for your kind words of encouragement - your reply just made my day!
I have been a success story before, as so many of us here have been. I lost over 150 pounds in 2004-2005 - then Katrina hit - no grocery stores only military MRE's for over 6 months - a lot of weight piled back on - then all that was (and still is) Katrina took it's toll - lost everything I owned from the flood water and the rest from being looted about 10 times. I had a bad accident while trying to clean out my house - cut my palm & disconnected a few fingers & busted my knees - the hand is fine - the knees not so much - and still more weight gained. Then, this year, because of the reduction of tourism here and the national economy, I was laid off from my job.
All of that to say - I've had enough - the weight is something I can do something about - it is in my control - everything else is not. So, yes, I am determined. Yes, I am inspired by you and so many others here. I have never been a part of any online forum - I know that this will be the extra something that will contribute to meeting my goal. Thanks so much for being a part of that.
