I'm shamelessly plugging my new avatar, it's an even more current after photo. Although I'm about the same weight, I've been working out a lot and getting much stronger.
I've got similar legs to what you used to, so here is my question: is there anything specific that you did to get them that way? At what weight did you start to notice a difference in your thighs?
My legs have always been rather large but shapely, thankfully (well, until I start putting on weight, they just get fat then). They're chunkier than I'd like, but are definitely my best asset (especially now that gravity has been pounding away on some of my other assets that used to be good *lol*).
I've always have pretty large muscles in my thighs, even when I didn't work out and my legs in that pic look like they always have, well, when I was thin. I think a lot of what you are seeing in the after pic is just genetics, (my mother has incredible legs *grin*) as much I'd like to say it's from blood sweat and tears. Though, I have been putting a lot of work into it as well I guess.
I did start walking in March and was doing as much as 10 kilometers several times a week, or 1.5 hours on the treadmill several times a week. Around June (a month or so before the picks where taken) I started running, so that likely helped some I'm sure. Since the pictures were taken I joined PUSH and have been doing that several times a week on top of the running. I've actually been meaning to take another current picture to see if there's any real difference between then and now since I've been doing PUSH for a few months. Maybe I'll get the bikini out and do that today, I could use a boost.
I just added a new pic. The first one is my last "current" photo and the second one is three months later...taken today. The weight change isn't a lot (only about 1.5 lbs) but I've been working out a lot since the last photo. I didn't really expect to see much of a difference, but I really actually can, I'm pleasantly surprised. Yay me!

Wow, I wouldn't have guessed that this is only 1.5 lbs!! Fantastic.
What exactly is PUSH? I'm hoping to keep "shrinking" once I hit my goal weight by toning & building muscle, and it looks like that's exactly what you're doing...how do you do it?
PUSH is www.push.tv, it's a monthly strength training DVD program that is customized. I found it through the review on the main 3FC's website. I really love it and am seeing big improvements...as you can tell from the picture.
I'm not at goal yet, and my eating has been horrible, but I've been keeping up with PUSH and my running, and it's paying off. I can not speak highly enough of working out! LOL
