UPDATE since yesterday!!!!!!!! My washer isn't working right and the repair man can't come until tomorrow, so I was having to hunt around for some dress pants to wear to work today....I had been holding off on trying on any of my size 12 stuff because I didn't want to be disappointed if it didn't fit. So out of desperation this morning, I dug to the back of my closet and brought out my fave pair of size 12 slacks....tried them on, buttoned them up and they're LOOOOOOOSSSSEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! I was on cloud 9 the whole way to work!!!!!!!!!

ANYWAY!

Stepped on the scale first thing this morning and it read 180.6! Down from 201 less than a month ago! I'm really starting to get excited about this and now it really feels like i'm getting somewhere and can really do this....

My on-demand service from the cable company has a great cardio routine that i'm really getting into and all my clothes fit so loose now! I'm almost ready to step down to the size 12 stuff that's been languishing in the corner of my closet for WAAAAY too long!

started atkins induction on 2/20 and have stayed on it...started making myself eat vegetables (EW) and trying to do cardio every night for at least 30 minutes.......i'm really stoked and hope i keep showing steady progress (even if it slows down some). i know if i stall for a while i'll get frustrated.

Thank you all so much! i'm looking forward to pulling long-lost clothes out of boxes in the garage this weekend! It's both good and bad that you can look through boxes and find stuff that you didn't even remember you had....it's kinda like a mini-christmas!
