Weighed in on Tues., my 3rd week ....drumroll please....total 10.5 lbs. lost! Yay!
Also lost 15" around various body parts ( which Sue Ann was astounded at?) Guess that is awesome.
I can hardly exercise so it is really good for me to lose 3.5# a week!!! Am walking more each week though. I have rheumatoid arthritis and our rain this week is NOT helpful...smile.

Hey Eugene MRC'rs we need to arrange a way to know each other at a class. Think of something like a color to wear; a name tag etc. Would love to meet you!

Lady67 don't worry,
did you get a printout on "plateaus" or stalls from the MRC staff? It has a good explanation for why we do stall.
Ask for it- I read it several times before I was convinced I wasn't a failure!

I did... though I guess I need to read it again... and possibly again! Just have never had success staying focused enough to loose the weight and keep it off.
But, chin up right? I've lost 10, that means I can loose another 10!

Hello everyone! I just signed up yesterday. Today was my first day and I'm very confused. (I've already called my consultant once and I don't want to become that person, lol) I'm doing the pre-diet phase and have been looking over my food list and have a few questions. Are these things OK:
Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Kraft olive oil light mayo, and Lipton diet green tea, soy products like the (fake) bacon, cheese, etc...??
Is it normal to feel slightly nauseated by all the supplements at first? (I'm taking the fish oil, MRC-6, Cortitrim, & Phentratrim Plus)
My consultant suggested I might try the hormone cream (I'm 50) and collagen cream so that my skin stays firm during weight loss. Has anyone tried those? As you all know, all this is expensive so I want to make sure I'm not just throwing away $$$ for something I don't need!
So MANY QUESTIONS! Lol.

If I recall correctly, the preconditioning week is strictly by the diet sheet they give you (less restrictive, enjoy it!!), but they don't focus on portions so much. I DROPPED weight that precondioning week and felt great.
As far as my center goes, you have to be careful about the condiments because of the sodium (especially worchestershire & soy). You might want to look into the Walden Farms products--- I THINK all of those are OK.
I would suggest just going with exactly what is on the list. I don't really know about the soy products. Unless you are on the vegetarian menu?
and yes, I felt nauseated at first. Make sure to drink lots of water when you take them. and take with a meal at first.
I am 45 and tried the hormone cream, made me feel much better. I have not tried the collagen cream?

Thank you! No, I'm not on a vegetarian plan, I just thought that those things might be acceptable to put on salads instead of real cheese or bacon crumbles since they are healthier. I'll just be safe and stick to the list until next Friday when the real "fun" starts .
Another question: how do you access your acct info to add your details? (I can't find the link!!) I wasn't going to do that out of embarrassment, but I guess it helps you keep up with your progress and adds some accountability.
