I found this over on the BBC website and thought it was interesting. You enter into the site your age, gender, height, weight, and country. It will then tell you, based on your BMI, where you rank among others in your gender/age category in your country and globally. It also tells you which country you are most like based on your age/gender/BMI. Another cool fact it pops out is if everyone in the world has the same BMI as you, how much lighter the earth would be.
It actually made me feel pretty good today. Based on my numbers it said:
You have a lower BMI than 83% of females aged 30-44 in your country.
You have a lower BMI than 55% of females aged 30-44 in the world.
If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would remove 5,119,138 tonnes fromthe total weight of the world's population.
You're most like someone from Philippines (Compared with other females aged 30-44 in Philippines).
