they never told me i had to buy the HNS and supplements from them when i signed up and forked over big bucks. got talked into buying the phenatrim for $79 too. after that, i was done. my 2nd visit, one girl told me i had to buy all the HNS's from them and even the supplements. i told her i already have the fish oil, b-12, women's multi vit, etc. and she (let's call her the "B") said they were "not clean" and i had to buy from them. i bought one box of HNS just to get out of there!!! then ordered the rest from Diet Direct. i did look at the contract and it does say something about buying the HNS but no one told me. the manager apologized for not telling me and i told him i did not want to be harassed and what should i do? get a refund? were they going to kick me out? he said no, not at all and he put notes in my file if i wasn't meeting w/ him to make sure i wasn't harassed. i avoid the days when the "B" is there. seriously i think $400 (and that was WITH my $100 off coupon) is enough for 17 weeks. Do i love the program? yes! the HNSs you order online are about the same price as online ($11) but i buy the pink lemonade HNS in bulk - 17.6 oz for $24 and also use the Vanilla Creme protein powder from Walmart to stretch it out. mix together most of time...
would love to find more of the clear HNS's in large containers ... they only have the Hot Cocoa in bulk besides the lemonade...

Default Help if you can!

I guess things are different with every center. My center here in CO required me to buy their multi vits, and the fish oil and the HNS! Unfortunately I am getting horrible Migraines from the HNS! I informed them when I signed up that I had to eat & drink all natural products no chemical sweeteners or nitrates. And they said oh no you won't have any problems! Yeah right! I instantly had a migraine with the first drink. So then they had me buy the pink lemonade & lemonade and I still am having trouble! And I now have like 6 unopened boxes that they won't let me return!!! This makes me so mad, they are not even open! I think that shows you they don't really care about a person's health just their sales!!!!

they will tell you that if you don't buy their products that your guarantee isn't good .... but seriously if you eat off program, your guarantee isn't good anyway .... the products you buy at diet direct (if you buy the right ones) are the IDENTICAL product (manufactured at the same place and simply private-labeled for individual diet centers). the key to getting the good price is to wait until they go on sale and order in bulk.

if you can't take the HNS, use egg whites, lean, low-cal protein instead. people with migraines have many triggers that can include artificial sweeteners and all of the artificial chemicals in the products --- calling them "clean" is a joke!

I must have a sign on my forehead that reads I am weak! I finally quit going to the office and plan to try doing on my own...but it is the same with the gym - can't even workout without some trainer trying to hit you up! There has got to be over 50 people at the gym at any given time - why come to me?? I am sure it is becasue I am overweight and 'need' the miracle help - whatever - makes me want to quit the gym too (which I refuse to do)!

Now I will look at local stores also.
At my weight loss center they actually have it written in the signed contract for the program that you HAVE to buy MRC HNS. Now that isn't to say that you can't supplement your buyings from Diet Direct b/c I don't think they keep that close of track of how many you've bought vs sheet. If you don't purchase from them they say you are breaking MRC Program and don't gaurentee anything.

Supplements: I think the supplements vary. I do take B6- natural directic and B-12 for energy bought at Wal-Mart. I also take D3 b/c I have very low immune system. That is a personal health choice.
As far as ALWL or MRC 6 I don't know the answer. My friends are taking them for the last 2 weeks and they have had killer weigh ins and inch loss! It makes me jealous and I want some. Especially since they cheat on program as frequently as every day and I don't .......not one tiny bit.

my doctor told me if i took all the supplements i'd prob. lose faster but once i stopped taking them, i'd gain the weight back. said it was better to do what i'm doing and just follow the food plan and stay OP. increase activity too. there's another diet center in town that everyone goes to and they sell tons of pills and give out the B-12 shots. everyone loses like crazy. but as soon as they stop taking the pills and shots, they have gained weight back and even more! so, if you're following the plan you'll lose and it will stay off. :-)
