Hi! I started the plan 12 weeks ago and have lost 30lbs. Having a great deal of success and am thrilled with where I am.
Here is what I need to know. I went on vacation this week and well, let's say my good intentions did not win! I do not even know how to record my food because it was not even near the plan. Early scale check shows I gained 5 lbs.
What do I do? Do I go back and do the cleansing week or do I just pick up where I left off?
You just have to move on. It happened, you realize that you didn't write things down and that lead to a weight gain. Learn from this minor set-back.
I actually wouldn't even call it a set back. Yes, you want to lose weight and get healthy, but you also need balance. Use this experience to help you find your balance.
I think either way will work for you, just depends on what gets your head back in the game. The same thing happened to me, though I refuse to get on the scale for at least a week....anyway.....I'm doing the 10 day cleansing again, just to reset. Good luck!! You can do it.
I feel like you should do what you think you need done. If it will make you feel better to cleanse and get back on track go for that option. If you feel you can pick up and go on with a clear mind...do that.
I think everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect don't fret!! Congrats on 30lbs!
I have had this issue before also...When I get back home, I don't go through "pre conditioning" again...but I do cleanse. I get right back OP, add fiber for a few days, drink LOTS of water, and have a "Meta Quick" day for a couple of days. In a couple of days, it seems to help and my weight goes down. Hope this helps! No guilt, just life and so we just resume the journey we are on when we get back home! I say let vacation be vacation
