Default Back on Board

2 years ago I lost 40 lbs with MRC. Using no excuses for what has happened - I have gained 25 lbs back! Time to get back in business. I have increased my goal this time as I set a realative low goal last time I was on program. I was happy with my results - just fell completely off maintenance plan in the last year. Hubs and I are going on vacation for our anniversary in November and I would like to at least be back to my last program goal of 175. The plan starts today! I look forward to the sharing and support this site offers!!

Welcome back. This is my first, and hopefully only time for MRC. I started a few weeks ago and am down 6.5 lbs. I think the program is great and this forum is awesome.

Welcome, leigh! This is my second time around too. It's a lost easier this time when you know the pitfalls.

Good luck and check in often.

Though I know you're not happy about the 25 lb weight gain, I'm happy for you that you didn't gain the 40 plus more as is usually the case. I know that you'll have success this time around also. This is a great forum for ideas and support.

This is my second time around, too. I had a baby when I was about 10 lbs. away from my goal, and I was left with about 40 extra pounds after the baby.

I'm finding it much easier this time. As little edie said, you know the pitfalls. I know what some of my problems were last time, so it's easier to fend them off. I also know that it works, and pretty quickly, too, which gives me motivation not to cheat.

Thanks ladies - I know this program works! I've seen it and lived it - now I just need to get my motivation back in line and stick to it. Today is day 2 OP and although I cannot say I did not sneak a couple bites, I can say I have stayed away from caffeine (my biggest problem). One step at a time.

*Sigh* I too have suffered the ill effects of jumping off the wagon. I really got to where eating was unbearably boring, and expensive. I know what I've done wrong sothis week I've been on a healthy kick and today hubby took care of the 3 boys while I went for a jog. I feel happy and energized. I think I will be using my own version of the program in order to avoid the fallback last time of hating food. Week 1 begins now.
