I HATE that each center does things a little differently. THis is such baloney! My center allows us to change goal weights (within reason) as we see fit.
And how screwed up is it that they are dictating to you what your goal weight should be???!!? My center did it more as a consultation/negotiation, taking my feelings into consideration--they made a suggestion, I disagreed and we recalculated.
My center originally wanted me to get down to 170 before stabilizing, but I told them "no way!" So, now my goal weight is 195.
I am planning on trying to get pregnant starting sometime in June/July (if all goes well)--I wanted to stabilize and be on a healthy number of calories and fats before we actually start trying. Not only that, but I want to learn how to maintain BEFORE I get pregnant, so I don't get out of control with my eating during the pregnancy and gain way more than I'm supposed/need to. Plus, honestly, I want to just have a month or so to just enjoy myself and not be so OBSESSED with dieting before I get pregnant.
