I checked at walmart today for the shakes since pure protein is a national brand, but they only had whey powder. I've seen that brand at grocery stores, though (Kroger affiliate around here), but I don't know exactly what products from that brand that they carry. It might just be something to keep an eye out for whenever you're in a place that might have it. Drugstores or GNC might be options, too...

Breakfast
1 pc 40 calorie toast
cheese
2 eggs
peach mango HNS - I love it! The first time I've had it
Snack
2 boiled eggs

Locos Deli fajita salad w/ steak, salad greens, spinach, grilled onion, green peppers, tomatoes, steak, cheese, oil and vinegar
watermelon
Snack
Chicken
Dinner
turkey chili
buffaloaf

Much better on the snacking today. I went out to lunch with my co-workers and resisted the temptations of burgers and wings, ice cream at our afternoon meeting, and a Cinnabun cinnamon roll that my sister bought my mom from the mall. Yeah, me! I honestly don't even want any, I'm so focused on at least trying to stay on the program and losing weight.

Super Fruit and Veggie
I have a container of the super fruit and veggie drink. My center didn't have the veggie drink. The drink isn't bad, but it was still hard for me to get it down. For one thing, the consistency of it was bad, it didn't dissolve like the HNSs do. I also haven't figured out if I should mix a little bit of water or a lot.

I have the veggie drink and do not like the minty flavor. I like other green drinks, but not this one.
Rzrbkcandi - yes, I do the bars but I am limited to 3 times a week. Even those I have to choke down. I'm just not a morning eater. I made the MRC waffles today. I can eat one pretty easy, but not 2. At least it's something. I made a double batch and froze the rest for quick breakfasts. I plan to do the same with pancakes as well.
Green Menu
Breakfast - 1 boiled egg, oatmeal with ICBINB spray and cinnamon/stevia, Kiwi Melon HNS
Lunch- Baked chicken from store, leftover sauteed evoo green beans, palmful of red raspberries, pom HNS
Dinner- Was at the fair. Had a Wildberry HNS before I went and treated myself to 1 chicken skewer while I was there. Of course the sauce they cook it in wasn't OP, but that was the best I could do.

The Veggie drink is an acquired taste. I mix it with about 3-4 oz. of water and shake it really good then shoot it. Sometimes even hold my nose to get it down. But the less water you mix it in, the faster it's over. I would rather do this a few times during the week instead of cooking a veggie or just eating veggies. Oh, and it is definitely better when it's cold. I always mix mine and keep it in the fridge or mix it with cold water.

victorialynn-- I found the shakes! They had them at Target. They were sold in a four pack for $7.99, so basically the same price as Trader Joes. I would imagine you could also order them onlie somewhere. Also, I would think you could use the powder version by pure protein. I would imagine it's almost the same formulation, and powdered is always cheaper than premixed. Premixed usually tastes better, though, so it's a tradeoff.
My husband uses protein powder stuff when he works out, so if the nutrition info is comparable to the MRC shakes, I might have him get the chocolate next time (he likes strawberry-- ick) and taste it.
I'm doing metaquick this week, and I asked if I could drink two of the ready made shakes in place of hte one powdered one they sell, and they said yes, so I don't see how it would be bad to do two of the Pure Protein ready made shakes since that's even closer to the powdered one.
I'm not a fan of the powdered version because of hte texture, but I"m also going to try that in a blender to see if it helps. I can drink it, but it's not overly pleasant.

Here's a little tip, that I just learned, when dealing with the powder drinks. I pour 16-18oz. cold water in the blender then turn it on and slowing pour in the powder. A LOT less clumping. It does froth up a little but then I pour it into a Mixer bottle - I ordered the Blender Bottles that have like a wire type round wisk in them. I think the center sells them but their's are plastic. Then give it a few shakes and drink. You can also close the cap and reshake to mix things up again.
And the blender bottles really help if you make your shakes ahead of time and drink later.
