Vanilla pudding HNS

I just recently bought a box of the vanilla pudding as a mid day snack. I prepared it just as the instructions said and ended up gagging the whole time I ate it. :( I thought it tasted terrible! I don't want to waste the rest. Does anyone have ideas to make this taste better?

yip, it isn't wonderful, but I don't hate it. I add water and a couple of truvia packets to it, mix it up good, then pour my coffee in and stir for a bit of my own on-plan cappacino. But I don't eat it plain. I love the truvia in it, by the way.

I use it for smoothies....at lunch add water, vanilla HNS, and some frozen fruit and blend.

Also, I have made the blueberry muffins from the cookbook with it. They are a good lunch treat.

I make it with about half the amount of water it says and it's not too bad. Last night I added cinnamon, nutmeg and splenda and it was delicious.

The center had a cooking class and we used a cup of coffee, some pumpkin pie seasoning, a vanilla HNS and a packet of splenda with ice (in the blender) and it was awesome. So awesome that I have been making this with flavored coffee for the past week and a half :) Play with the recipe.

Love the ideas so far. I may make a mock rice or tapioca pudding with it. Everything with cinnamon always ends up tasting the same to me anyway. LOL Thanks guys!

Same here and I don't the the choc is a whole lot better really. I was so disappointed to discover that. I also use in smoothies and decaf coffee etc. Haven't tried the muffins yet.

I love it!! Not by itself, but it really makes a great smoothy..... you can add an orange HNS and some ice with water..... or add fruit (instead of the HNS) for a really YUMMY and filling smoothy.
I use it with 1/8 cup oatmeal (dry), 2 ounces of cottage cheese and an egg with some cinnamon and spenda.... blend it and make one big pancake for breakfast.
Or.... I will mix it with 2 ounces of cottage cheese, an egg, a teaspoon of splenda, some vanilla extract, some coconut or orange extract (mixed in a blender) and stir in 1/2 cup frozen blueberries and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. I make this in the morning and bring it with me for lunch having it with a salad.

If you try to play around with it, it may become your favorite! :)

This is funny because I actually like it as is. The pumpkin pie coffee blended drink sounds amazing and I think I will try it tomorrow as an afternoon snack.

I like it with almond extract added in and really cold.
