IMHO, learning to celebrate without food may be one of the best things you can do for yourself. I celebrated my birthday right after I began MRC and decided to give myself the gift of healthy eating. We've been treating ourselves for a long time - now it is a different kind of treat. Other than that, I don't think it matters which color sheet you go back to. If you do eat off plan for a couple of days, allow for weight gain due to carbs and salt. Drink lots of water and eat you other meals as you would.
Sorry if I'm no help! I've just learned the hard way toooo many times. When I'm at my goal weight, I'll be able to have a treat now and again for my birthday. For now, it's pedal to the metal!
