hi everyone. i'm back for good now. i was having a hard time committing myself to this menu as it is very strict. i was able to get down to 158, but now i am back up to 163. i have maintained under 165 for a month. now i'm ready to get back on track and lose the rest of this weight. mid-sept i will have been one year on mrc. i am not going to re-enroll, but plan to stick to the green menu and do hns, but no other supplements. i can usually loose 10lbs a month if i stick to it. so my aug goals are to:
1. lose atleast 10lbs so i will be at an all time low of 153 ahhh so exciting!!
2. drink atleast 80oz water/day
3. hit the gym 3 days a week.
4. change up my food daily
5. drink 4 hns daily
6. weigh everything
I want to lose 10 more lbs in August because I'm going to see my sister in California for Labor Day weekend and I want her to be stunned when she sees me weighing 30 lbs less!
Wow...I can't believe its August already!! I re-enrolled on Friday for an additional 17 weeks. My goal for this month is to STAY ON PROGRAM!! I have wasted June and July, and I am going to make my goal weight by Nov. 29th! I have a problem, every time I go WI and I've had a great loss, I tend to cheat more the days following!! Then my next WI I'll only loose .5lb or stay the same! So NO MORE CHEATING MYSELF~!
Ok so get this, I've been having a terrible couple weeks with weigh ins that are 1-1.5 lbs a week at most.
So today I went in after spending the weekend feeling bothered because the scale was not changing. It's only been 2 weeks since my last Tanita, but they offered to do that today to see whats going on. It turned out that i've lost 6.5 lbs of fat in 12 days and GAINED 1 lbs of muscle and gained like 4.5 lbs of water.
So even though the scale said 174.5 she said my real weight is 170! YAY! Every time I hit these periods, I doubt anything is happening and it gets me down. Now I know I should probably ask for the tanita mid-month to help give me the mental boost. So, my ticker remains the same for today, but the end of the week should be a good one!

What great news! I know how easily it is to get frustrated with slow losses and not know what is going on. Now you can breathe and understand that all your hard work is paying off. 6.5 pounds of fat is a huge amount in 12 days!!!.... and you are gaining muscle! Way to go!
I think I may have to ask for a tanita at the end of the week to see if my important numbers have changed at all. Thanks for posting about your experience.
I have a goal of 50lbs total lost by August 23rd which is when I leave for vacation. To get there I will need to kick up my water intake and do more cardio.
Well, I weighed in today and lost 3 lbs which puts me at 45.5lbs lost before my vacation. I was shooting for 50 but am happy with what I accomplished.
How is everyone else doing with their August goals?
So since August is almost over I did accomplish all my goals except for one. I wanted to lose 20 pounds this month, but am happy with the 17 that I did lose. So now that's a total of 67 pounds and 53.75 inches lost since May 2010. I'm pretty happy with my results for this month.
