I'm just going to start with my April goals...

1)Get back to 100% OP. I haven't been cheating, but have "fudged" a couple times.
2)Max out HNS
3)Get back to the gym. I've been fighting a cold/allergies for 2 weeks, and have an eye infection now so haven't gone to the gym.
4)Hit 40 pounds lost.
5)Drop down a size in pants. Hopefully 2, but have yet to drop the first size.

Thank you all for your support and encouragement! It really does help, especially since I don't have a center to go to. My "coach" at the center hasn't even called me back for 3 weeks.

Michelle

I went to WI this morning and lost another 3 so I'm down 23.5 in 40 days. I'm so excited I've been jumping around all morning. I'd like to thank the people who suggested I read the paper towel theroy, that was perfect and I know eventually people will notice but as long as I'm noticing I'm good.

Happy April everyone
I need to refocus. I might be losing weight but I'm not being as "good" as I should be. I plan on getting more HNS and more Fiberfill and sticking with my plan better. This month is also stepping up the workouts.
Congrats, and good luck to everyone

Happy April ladies! So as I sit here ill I have commited to run a 5K in November. Yes, a bit crazy...but a goal that I have always had & my bf is going to do this with me since he is OP also! I wanted to know if anyone is/has done the "couch to 5k" program? That is what i'm planning to start once my breathing gets back to normal. I am so stoked. I need to really step it up a notch & max out on HNS this month w/my birthday cruise coming up in May. Let's bring it in April!

For the past 2 months I've said I'm not buying any new clothes during this process. I have plenty to get me through until goal. BUT, it IS Easter, and I deserve a new outfit right?! I found a pair of casual slacks and a nice shirt tonight and bought both in a size smaller!!! OK, the slacks are a little snug, but they will be fine for Sunday, and in the next week or two I should lose enough that they will really fit well. It does feel good to finally buy something a size smaller though. I can't wait until I'm out of the 20's though. Those teen sizes are going to feel absolutely wonderful!

On a side note, my 8 year old daughter is probably getting a new horse this weekend. We will be checking him out tomorrow.

Karla, Congrats on the commitment, the C25K is a very doable program, I started exactly a year ago and just completed my first Half-Marathon three weeks ago and my first 5K in September. There is a thread I jump bumped for you all about it with others on the MRC program from last year. If you have any questions just PM me. Good luck... Genell

Happy April all! My goal for this month is to hit that big -50 lbs. So, 11 lbs in a month? Oh I'm sure I can do that one. I'm so excited about how well things have been going, but still feel like I could be doing better, so here's hoping to remotivate this month as well.

I'll have to check my center for an Easter menu. I've been sort of bummed that I'll be missing out on our general feast of a dinner for the holiday. I'll just have to make some substitutions and make my own on plan dinner.

And congrats on your weigh in Karla!

WI today was down 3 lbs! Metaquick finally paid off, the week after! I did measurements today too and was down 22 inches for 17.5 lbs which was way more inches than I expected! woo!

I'm leaving for Peru next Saturday so i'm hoping to be in the 190's before I leave on MY scale which was at 201.5 this morning!

Today is the start of my 8th weeks, so by next saturday i'll be 33% completed and the weight loss is pretty on track for that.
Exciting day. Have a great weekend everyone
