Default Needing the nutritional facts of the bars and shakes

Does anybody have the nutritional facts of the MRC bars and shakes. I want to compare them to the Atkins bars and shakes or other brands of low carb products. I'm going on vacation and want to do the Meta-Slim during it (because of convenience), but don't want the cost. If you have any ideas, it would be much appreciated.

Maybe it's called the Meta-Quick...I don't know the one where you eat a meal replacement for breakfast and lunch then eat a regular OP dinner.

Would be interested to know what you found out in terms of equivalency and what you ordered, if any.

"back in the day" when I was not cheating and on plan, I used South Beach Living High Protein Cereal bars, Peanut butter flavor. They are 140 cals, 10g protein, 10 vitamins and minerals, 5g fat, 150 mg of sodium and 15g carb. Very comprable to MRC and way cheaper. The 150 mg of sodium is a little high, but still less than the chocolate cereal bar. The other flavors may have less sodium than the peanut butter, I'm not sure.

Thank you . That's a BIG help. They are so much cheaper and so are the shakes but I can't seem to get any feed back on those.

Hello All,

I've done some research on bars and shakes. I have found a wonderful bar. It's called Pure Protein. I took it to MRC and asked about them in comparison to theirs and they couldn't find a complaint because obviously Pure Protein is better all the way around. MRC did say they have sugar alcohol and they could upset my stomach. I thought it was weird that was all they could come up with. Then later on that day I compared theirs to Pure Protein and theirs do have more sugar alcohol in them

Pure Protein is around $6.oo at Wal-Mart, they have:
  • 6 bars per box
  • 20g of protein
  • 0g of trans fat
  • 2g of sugar
  • 15 carbs
  • 180 calories
  • 200mg sodium. (this was a little higher then MRC)

They also have alot of vitamins and minerals in them. Obviously with different flavors the calorie, fat, protein will be slightly different. I have not found a bar that has less than 19g of protein though. My favorite one is the smore's flavor.

As far as the shakes I haven't found one yet. I really don't like to have shakes as a meal relacement, I feel cheated (I like to have something to chew on). So I haven't searched to hard.

This is very helpful! Thanks so much for sharing this option!

No. I think they're all good. The chocolate bar looked better on the packaging than it tasted, but it was still good.
