Default Did anyone feel sick there first week op???

Just started eating on program and I feel so sick from drinking so much water and eating so much food. They started me on the green menu in the beginning because of my dislike for veggies so much. I understand this is going to make me loose slower than most in the beginning but thats ok. I just feel soooo ill. Could it be because I am not eating the unhealthy junk I was eating before? Just wondering because the headache and nausea is driving me crazy today.

drinking so much water makes me feel icky sometimes, but that's about it. i'm sure your body is just confused about where all the junk went and what all this new healthy stuff is! just give it time to adjust, is my advice. hang in there! eventually your body will get used to the nutritious fuel you're giving it to run.

just my two cents

I had to eat a couple of saltines just to keep from being ill...It did help. But I can't be making a habit of that. I wonder how much that is going to mess me up???

I have proven multiple times now that you can do something a little OP (like last week when I ate about 10 saltines and a "small" bowl of refried bean soup with cheese, sourcream and cornbread) and still lose. I did this last week and when I weighed in on Saturday, was down 4.5 lbs. So while it is important to be pretty disciplined, there is room to go off without it being completely detrimental. Really. So don't worry at all about a few saltines. If that is what it took to get you through, then that is nothing.

Thank you soooo much!! This makes me feel better. I just wanted to hit myself for eating those crackers but I so want to be successful on this diet. One day at a time and it will get easier I hope.

And yes....starting OP will make you feel sick especially if you cheated alot during your detox week (preconditioning) like I did last time I did this plan. I used that week as my last week for everything I wanted I felt flu-ish. It passed.

Feeling much better today! I did cheat a small bit last night because I felt soooo sick. My hubby made smoked cat fish....NONONONO I said LOL! I can't have cat fish. I did eat it but not a ton. I then had a very small portion of rice because I felt so ill and weak. I feel much better today. I think my body was in a state of shock from the lack of carbs but today but on track and I am going to forgive myself for yesterday and get back OP! If I can get through this week I will be on the road to a healthier me "with confidence"!!!

Is it possible you might have some blood sugar fluctuations that are a factor. Are you a type 2 diabetic? Anyway, just a possibility. Perhaps your blood sugar went low????????????????
