Default Greek food on the plan

Hi all you wonderful MRC Ladies! I am going to a Greek Restaurant tonight, and want to know what I can have. I've never been to one before, so I don't know my limits. Thanks and keep up the great work!

I unfortunately have never been to a greek restaurant and therefore don't have any suggestions for you. Good luck!

Greek is awsome! I would suggest lamb chops and some sort of veggie or salad. But, when you are done with MRC try the hummus, spanitopka (sp?), gyros, and mousaka! Yum!

We went to a greek restaurant a few mo. ago... It was lunchtime so I had a greek salad with O&V dressing. I use the feta cheese on it as my protein. This prob won't be very satisfying for dinner though. I would recommend you bring your own carb in a baggie and sneak it out during the meal, have greek chicken (a baked chicken with herbs and some veg's) if they serve it, peel back the skin and estimate the portion, have some of the vegs or order a side salad/cooked veggie. I agree with the others, skip the gyro and baklava tonight :0) Let us know what you decide on. Have fun and enjoy the company most of all!!

I used to visit a local college town and eat in a Greek restaurant once a month before I started MRC. You'd better believe as soon as I hit goal I'm getting an authentic gyro and some baklava!

But no suggestions for you. Just lots of unhealthy food thoughts.
