Info on Metabolic Research Center - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Hi,
I don't live close to a MRC location, so I wondered if I just ate healthy and walked, and took their drink at each meal, would it still work? It's just too far for me to drive into a location.
I'd love to try this, but again, it's just too far.
Any info would be appreciated.

i think they have ways to help people who don't live in a city where there is a center. you might call whichever one is closest to you and see what they can do for you or just take the basics i'm sure you've read here and apply them to your situation.

There's nothing "magic" in the drinks - it's a low calorie way to get in some extra protein. I wouldn't suggest it, frankly - but they will work with you over the phone.

I actually heard a consultant on the phone this morning and she was counseling a MRC member. She asked her what here weight was this morning, spoke to her about what she had to eat the last week and how she was feeling. She took her order over the phone and was preparing to mail it to her. I think if you want to do a long distance program you can contact the center nearest to you and see what they can do for you! In my opinion its the support the MRC center gives me that makes it to where I can commit to the weight loss. Good luck on your adventure!!! Huggers!!!

I've heard them counceling in my center also on phone, that is what I would recommend...they help me so much with encourgemnet and accountablilty that I am not sure that I know I couldn't be so diciplined without them.
