I'm going to get this, and take with Sam's Club Vitamin B Complex. Research I've found states up to 100 mg of B6 is safe. MRC6 has 10 mg and Sam's Club B Complex with 50 mg.

Speaking of which - I found out the green tea & cranberry is really good mixed with hot water - took that in a travel cup & a MRC bar for my breakfast-on-the-go earlier this week.

I've got a breakfast on the run tomorrow morning and will try that--thanks!

That does sound good! I also found that I really like the peanut butter crunch bars better than the peanut butter bars the center sells. They are much creamier and seem to have more body. They aren't crunchy, though...not sure where that comes in.

I did just find a link that Schooner had posted awhile back (which reminds me, where is that guy???) Just checked it against MRC6 - same ingredients. Same mg per serving. What I don't know is if the proportions of each ingredient are the same as MRC6. But I might order it when it's time for more MRC6. Don't know if it will make a difference from the stuff I got from iherb - don't even know if I'd notice a difference!
Oh, here's the link: http://www.wlc.y2webbuilder.com/cata...75/4850305.htm
I really appreciate knowing about all these other places to order HNS and other things that I feel MRC is ripping us off with. But I also wonder about regular products--for example, what about using fat-free, sugar-free Jello? The WinCo brand (Hy-Top) is 34 cents a box! The ingredients listed are almost identical, though the store brand has additional "artificial" ingredients. But the MRC brand of strawberry/banana gelatin has 70 calories per serving and the Winco strawberry gelatin has 10 calories, plus half the sodium.
Oh, maybe I'm answering my own question--the MRC brand has 16 g of protein, and the WinCo only has 1! Hmmmm. BUT, I just made a side-by-side comparison chart, and I don't know where the protein comes from. Is anyone a scientist? The Hy-Top brand does not have "hydrolyzed gelatin," only gelatin. Is that the protein? It's the first ingredient listed on the MRC box.
Well, maybe my idea is not a good one, but it was worth a try!

Yep, it's the protein that's the difference - the MRC gelatin is actually an HNS, one of your sources of protein. But you could probably use that store brand of gelatin & add some unflavored whey protein to it. There'd be some math involved in getting the right amount and it wouldn't be clear, but you could try it.
The hydrolyzed gelatin is the protein (I'm not a scientist - I had to google it , they use whey protein in the drinks).
Hi all...for those of you that have asked about HNS alternatives...I haven't been on plan for many months now and at this point, don't know when I will return. I have MANY boxes of HNS, some meal replacement bars and shakes that I will happy to pass along to someone who can use them. If you are interested, please PM me and I will be more than happy to respond!

I have been drinking almost all of the concentrates with hot water and have really enjoyed them. ( Kind of like a hot fruit tea).
