Christie: What a beautiful picture! You look great! I wish my center took pics at board signings. That .5 pound is nothing. It'll be gone before you know it.
Back from WI. Lost 3 lbs. That puts me at 18.5. Hopefully I will make the 20lb board on Friday or sooner if I feel skinny.
That board is so yours next wi! CONGRATS!!!

So after feeling all bummed after that wi, I get home to check the email and I found my pic from signing the forty pound board! I tried to upload it into this message, but I couldn't figure the stupid thing out, so I just made it my avatar!!
I wouldn't worry to much about .5, it was most likely water weight! Love your new pic!
Congrats to all the losses! I forgot to tell yall on Friday I got to get another pair of earrings! I got the cutest black and white ones at Penneys, yes of course they are pretty large, the bigger the better when it comes to earrings, if your gonna pay at least 10 bucks for something I want them to show! We had my son's consult today, the specialist said his tonsils definatley need out. So he is scheduled for surgery on June 13th. He has a Washington DC trip on June 2 through 5 so we made it like right after so he would be sure to get to go on his trip.
Yeah on new earrings! That means another goal attained, right? You're doing awesome! BTW, I tried the chili over cauliflower over the weekend and yum!!
Boo on tonsils! But I can tell you this...once it's over, you'll probably be glad it's over and your boy's health will improve Plan on ten days out of commission and get a nose plug for you - their breath is GAGGY!

Hang in there for those who are struggling. Gaining is certainly easier than losing is. But, it can be done. We are ALL testament to that!
For those that WI first thing in the AM. Do you eat and/or drink before you go. I know we're supposed to keep our normal eating schedule but I hate to eat or drink right before I go in there. What do you all do??
I have to be at work at 8am and my center doesn't open until 9am so when I go in, I've already had my breakfast, which I try to only have MRB's on weigh in day, and some water but I really limit it. Occasionally, I'll have a mid-morning HNS but it depends on how late I can get out of the office. And I've started carrying around a pair of old shorts that are super thin/light and putting those on at the center when I'm in the bathroom. I figure my shirts don't differ that much but the weight of my pants really does.

However, I weighed 145.8 on my home scale this am so I really think it was just my breakfast and clothes as I WI @ 148.5 at the center and last week my scale was right on. I WI again on Thursday and hopefull will be back on track again.
They gave me a Food Craving Diary to fill out and I think this will help. I've been having issues late afternoon/early evening, so I'll work with the form and wee what happens.
I hope you're all having a great day.
I hate when that happens. The minute it stops, I try to hop off before it can bounce up another 1/2 a pound. My home scale and the center scale are generally off by about 2 lbs but sometimes they are right on with each other or only 1 pound different. While I use it as bit of a judge on if I'll see a loss at the center, I never count on it.
I think that food craving diary will be great! Let us know how it goes.

I'm glad it's not the case anymore!
Bonnie! That is awesome! A great weigh in and to not be medically "obese" anymore!!! You must be with excitement. Congratulations.

Honestly? I think you need MORE food. Remember the problem with not eating enough... Your body goes into starvation. While I'm definitely not the best at "walking the walk" I just want to remind you that part of this plan and the ability to lose weight quickly comes from the whole "chemical balance" they preach to us about. And that comes from the combinations of the foods, not the supplements/herbs. Just keep that in mind and my first suggestion is to try and stick as close to the menu as possible, including all the amounts you are supposed to eat.
And secondly... Way to go on that 2 lbs last week and his buddy 1/2 a pound that went with him today! Great job!!!

Not sure if this has been posted yet but here is the nutritional breakdown for the Chocolate MR Shakes:

Sodium - 400
Total Carb - 23

I do know that they don't all have the exact same amounts. I think the vanilla might actually have a few less calories. There are also quite a few vitamins in here that are 50% of DV or higher. It even has 40% chromium.

Oh that's awesome! You've had some great WI's lately! I'm jealous. You will be making that 20 lb board before you can say supercalafragalisticexpialadocious. (Or before I can figure out how to correctly spell it!)

Down is definitely the direction we all prefer on those scales! And you know what they say... Slow and steady wins the race. Good job on that 1 lb down and signing a new board. Awesome work!

My center manager keeps telling me I should start taking the Corti-trim again but honestly, since I got off my plateau right after I stopped taking it, I'm in no hurry to try it again!
And that is a BEAUTIFUL picture! You look awesome.

Wow, you look great. I had to check out your profile to see who you were. What a great photo of you. Congratulations.
Woohoo! Way to go on those 2 lbs down. You're doing awesome!
---------------------
I weighed in at the Odessa center today instead of the Midland one due to something involving work and was a little nervous about using a different scale but it was good to me and I was down 2.5 lbs since Thursday. I'm only 4.5 from a new board (the big 4-0) and 6.5 from my "major-mini" goal! I'm very excited about that and would love to be there by the weekend but I know that's asking for a whole heck of lot! So right now, I'm pushing for next Tuesday to accomplish both goals, Thursday at the absolute latest. Then I'm getting myself a tanning membership! Woohoo!!!
Wow...look at all the losses so early this week. Bomaze, Redgirl, WorkinARMom, Blueyedangel, Angirue. Between the 5 of you, the weight lost is 9.6 lbs. and it's only Monday! And it sounds like quite a few of you are getting close to new boards to sign and/or achieving some mini-goals.
rockijames:
The WI scale bounces around like that for me, too. I think that's the reason I was up .5 last week, so was thrilled to be down that .5 this week, plus its twin. I've never heard of a craving diary. Let us know how that goes.
Namaste:
I saw your name (in your son's writing) on the board today when I was there. What days do you usually WI?
Yeah on new earrings! That means another goal attained, right? You're doing awesome! BTW, I tried the chili over cauliflower over the weekend and yum!!

Yep, a $10.00 pair of earrings for every 10 pounds lost. They warned me about the gaggy breath, lol. He will have his spot on the couch and lots of ice cream and popcycles (mashed potatoes and scrambled eggs are his favs anyway). When my kids are sick they get control of the remote and can choose the channel, they get the couch, they get to eat and drink in the living room (which is a no no any other time) they get to sleep on the couch and get waited on, Joby is actually looking forward to it, poor dear boy is in for a rude awakening I am afraid. I will be glad when its over.
Wow, we finally have our very own forum listed. Congrats to all you losers out there. I've gotten a little behind in my post reading lately, so I will try to catch up.
I was really stoked to see JanT posting. Hope you are doing well.
Namaste, You are truly rocking and rolling with your fat burning fire!!! Congrats on the 95 pound board! Can't wait to see your name up in lights on the 100 pound board! Loved your "freedoms" list and your analogy.
Well, ladies (where's Tim?) it finally happened. I finished my 2nd week of stabilization and lost another 3 pounds. This puts me in (drum roll please) ONE-derland!!!
It's been over 17 long years since I've seen one hundred and something on the scale. It feels really great. The MRC program works!!! I have lost almost 160 pounds in less than 11 months. When I first walked through the MRC doors, I never imagined I would be where I am now in such a short time. Jewelie, you would be so proud of me, I was able to bike 1.5 hours on Saturday and run for over 1 hour Monday. It's hard to put a price on good health. It's worth every penny!

DONUTS:
What an accomplishment! While MRC may have aided you on your journey, it took lots of commitment and dedication on your part to achieve this. Congratulations!!
