I have a little sharpei puppy above my waist but not too bad! Well then I had to have a new T-shirt to go with the new jeans so I got a mickey mouse one, love mickey, so since I got a new outfit I needed new makeup (been having allergic reaction to my brand, weird) so I grabbed some Almay to try, needed new powder to match the new foundation so got that too, needed new lipstick and bronzing powder since I was buying makeup, thought well **** I might as well change my hair up a bit so I bought a highlight kit. I spent 100 bucks!! BUT, I came home and put on the clothes and put on my new makeup and felt awesome, so you know what that means, yup... priceless.
I will do my hair tomorrow, might take a new pic and post it haven't decided yet. I should have gotten some new undies too, hubby calls me baggy britches!! Pretty stuff gets me psyched, so I am renewed. I had a buffalo burger today, I bought some sugar free whole wheat hamburger buns and only used half of it (55 calories) lots of mustard, tomatoes, lettuce, 1 pickle slice cut in fourths, it was possibly the best juiciest burger I have ever eaten. Guess i rambled enough, off to read. Started a really good book last week, "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" its very good.
Oh yeah, who was talking about the Asian Silk Spritzer dressing??? Was it Angie? Or Gigi? I can't remember but thank you, I bought some because you mentioned how good it was, and it totally is!! Oh it was fantastic, I made a salad with baby spinach, fresh mushrooms, green onion, parmessan cheese and the Asian Silk spritzer, it was soooooo good. I don't like dressing all that much, alot of it tastes too strong for me or has a weird wang, but that one was perfect, tasted almost smokey or something.mmmm delish!
|
OKAY...what a great day for you! I know just what you mean. Nothing beats feeling pretty! And I just gotta have a burger now. I have read "The Memory Keepers Daughter", it is good!

Oh I forgot to add, when I had problems with constipation, I was told to take all of my flax and all of my internal cleansers at night before bed. That seemed to do the trick. Also she said I could use dieter's tea or correctol.

My gas charge card was almost $400 this month!!
3MM: The peach concentrate gags me but I really like the powder

Glad to see you back! Our gas a month is horrible, my husband drives 80 miles a day at least to and from work and then on fridays we drive another 90 at least to and from weigh in. I will have to try the powder then.
I am allowed 6 oz of protein, the chili is like 95 % meat so I just measure out 6 oz, I may go a little less if I put a little cheese on top.

Just thought I would share what I had for lunch today. I made a MRC version of Minestra and it was sooooo YUMMY! I will put it on the recipe thread, if I can find it.
MRC Minestra (Beans and Greens)
7 oz. boneless skinless chicken breasts, chopped into ˝ pieces
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
Sea salt and black pepper
3 cups low sodium, fat free chicken broth mixed with
MRC Chicken Broth HNS (I used this to help thicken the soup)
1 lbs. fresh spinach (you could use excarole or kale too)
1/4 cup cooked pinto beans
In a deep, heavy skillet over moderate heat, sauté chicken in olive oil until cooked through. Add the spinach and wilt down for three to four minutes. Add chicken stock, scraping up the bits from the bottom of the pan. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Add beans and cook over medium heat until greens are tender about 12 minutes. Grate a small amount of parmesan cheese over soup to serve.

Sure, here it is.
3MM CHILI with faux tatoes
1 pound ground buffalo
1 can (or equivalent in fresh) petite diced tomatoes rinsed and drained
3/4 pack your brand chili seasoning
chopped green onion
sea salt to taste
1 cup water
bit of cheese
cauliflower
ICBINB spray
Brown meat and rinse and drain, add chili seasonings, tomatoes, green onion, sea salt, water, simmer to reduce a little.
Steam desired amount cauliflower in steam bag until VERY soft. Pour in a bowl and spray with ICBINB then chop into very small bite size pieces, add sea salt, top with chili and cheese.
If you like garlic in your chili you can add that too, or you can add garlic in the cauliflower. If you can find Williams Original chili seasoning it doesn't have any sodium. Its in a black and silver package.

Happy Birthday! Lucky for you I cannot convert roman numerals. (Just kidding).
[quote=readytobethinagain;2170458]WHOA NELLY!! I can't believe how much I have to catch up on!!! I just wanted to touch base real quick and let you guys know about my wi on Thursday. It was measuring day and I've lost 21 inches in 30 days! She was so startled by it that she called in the manager to double check!! I have to say though, the girl was new and she started off wrong and I had to walk her through how to do it. But after I started to watch her carefully, I really believe that she did it right. I have lost a total of 56.5 inches! Now, I lost 1.5 pounds and it was a total of 2 for the week, which is amazingly frustrating, until you get that nice long ribbon. My BMI is at 26.7. BF% is 36%. I was pretty stoked.
NOW for the bad news...I think I am having the worst TOM of my life. Yesterday was a HORRIBLE day. First, I was cramping so bad that I just wanted to cry. Then i dropped off my van to get checked up on b/c the a/c was going out and then went to the dentist to get a cavity filled, so my face was numb all day. When they checked my van, it turned out that the timing chain needs to be replaced, which is going to cost $4000!!! Like I have that kind of money. AND I don't have a car payment, so I don't want to trade it, and not to mention, I love my van!!! So do my kids, but with my job, I have really racked up the miles on poor Tina. I went to lunch after that news and got a grilled chicken salad, stayed completely op. BUT bit the life out of the inside of my mouth and probably obtained a lot of extra calories from eating the inside of my mouth. Now, please remember through all of this, I am on the worst TOM I've ever had. (at least that i remember) I was so tired and cranky and this whole car thing, well, I was so upset. Met up with my hubby after work and he seemed to have sympathy PMS, as he was just as tired and not feeling well. We went to Target, which is my favorite place ever. Didn't even enjoy it. sad, right? feel bad for me yet? heehee.... Well, we decided to go out to eat and we went for mexican food. Which we have done several times since I have started MRC and I've always resisted the chips and salsa and always ordered chicken fajitas and eaten one tortilla and nothing that is off program. (I sometimes have this ridiculous self restraint...money is really a motivator for me. ) Well, I had no fight left in me. None. I didn't even care. I drank two large margaritas, I ate chips, salsa and cheese dip, ordered a cheese quesadilla, chicken nachos smothered in cheese. I didn't even feel guilty. DID NOT CARE!! That's how bad this TOM is. I did, however, take my fat/carb blocker. Woke up in the middle of the night sick as ****. drunk, dehydrated and nauseated. it was awful. I'm assuming that the fat/carb blocker had something to do with the stomach cramps and unpleasantness of sitting on the throne at 2am, but I can't help but to think that I sent my body into shock and it was yelling at me. I was up and down. my poor hubby didn't get to sleep either b/c of me.

Congrats on the inches lost. And here is a hug for all of the other troubles.

WOW! What a great feeling. I definitely would love to see a picture.
I had an NSV today. I was buying some knit pants to play softball in and I bought a large - normally would have bought XL. Came home and I need to get a medium.

I am so happy-- also bought a really cute trapeze top- I think that is what you call it. Anyway, I feel really good in the outfit and I hope my son will be proud of me!!
