Default New to here, just checking in

Hi all, new to 3fc. My wife and I started Ideal Protein May 10, 2016, and have had fantastic results. I turned 30 this year and decided back in march I would lose 40lbs(job changes have really done me no favors in terms of health), so we decided to do it together. I started at 247 lbs, and as of today, I'm 188 lbs. The slowdown has started with my body fat % dropping 10%, from 27.1 to 17.0%. My goal currently is 12-15% and I'm getting close!!

I'm also getting damn tired of the same old products every day and find myself snacking on jerky or something similar during the day. What have you guys found to help that mid afternoon munchie craving? I would love to do peanuts or a rice cake or something filling, but they're still on the no-go list during phase 1.

Any tips??

I'm on day 2 of the IP diet and I'm already not sure I can do this. I'm not a veggie guy and will need recipes to help me get them down on a daily basis. I'm determined, though, so anything is better than nothing.

I wish you the best.
