Hey guys i have very sad news, i won't be doing any weigh-ins this sunday as one of my friends was killed in a car crash a few days ago.

The hard thing is i was having a drink in the pub with him literally 30 mins before he died and i still can't believe it's after happening he was only 23.

So i havent been able to focus on my weight loss goals i'm still figuring out in my head what happened i hope you all understand.

R.I.P mate you may be gone lad but you're definately not forgotten.

thanks for the messages guys, i said to myself i would do a quick weigh-in just to keep everything in track.

I didn't really do much excercise this week...well none really. But when i stood on the scales i was shocked to see i'm still down but only very little 0.9 lbs down.

Hopefuly next week will be easier to handle.

Ok guys wiegh-in day once more and i can tell you i really did kick my *** and after stepping on the scales (3 times because i almost couldn't believe it) i'm down to 315.0! giving me a loss of 2.1 lbs this week.

This has definately kept me motivated now after seeing a bit of a result.

See u guys next sunday.

Just to add, one thing that hit me this week is that i seriously underestimated how hard it's gonna be to lose all this weight.

My respect has gone up 10 fold for anyone who has reached their goal, it's a massive struggle.

Nice one my IrishLad! 17 pounds gone is great.

My advice is to not look at the longer journey but take smaller (still significant) chunks. So think about reaching 20 pounds loss, then 30, then 40 etc. It really helps me to do this and it was Bluejay's suggestion that I did when I joined this forum. If I thought about losing 100 pounds from day 1, I would have been lost.

It really works for me!

I now weigh 308.2 my new mini goal is to get down to the 200's. Can't wait for it!
