Default Not doing well, 30 day challenge

Hey everyone,

To say the past few days haven't been going great is an understatement. Way too many celebrations and then bad decisions on top of them. Usually when this happens I wallow in my depression for a while before I get back out of it, but this time I need to stay positive.

Sometimes bad things make you appreciate the good. So, for the next 30 days I'm going to post here in this thread how I've done that day. I'll post a guestimate of my calories and how I'm feeling. If anybody else would like to join me here just comment along. I hope to stay 30 days completely OP and then see where I am after that. I'm hope I'm into new territory by then as my weight have been up 5-10 pounds from the lowest.

I've found these 30 day challenges very helpful to me before, so I hope this will work again this time.

Good for you for jumping right into it and not wallowing in depression...that is usually what I do, and then I end up eating more and more and more. Good luck to you!

I'm awful proud of myself this holiday season, allowed a small celebration christmas eve, probably didn't go over 3000 calories, it's hard to tell when you can't weigh and calculate everything, but i'm fairly certain, christmas day i just sat in for christmas supper while everyone ate, strangely it seemed to make others uncomfortable, i went home and had a salad with some rice and a little turkey instead.

As far as treats goes i had around a dozen christmas cookies spread out over 7 - 10 days kept within my allotted calorie intake, oh and one piece of cherry supreme on christmas eve, all in all i managed to lose another 6 or so pounds over the holidays, of course i walked every single day as well.

Hope you can find a happy medium, i seem to have settled into one and am fearful of changing what i am doing right now.

Day 1. It wasn't perfect. I ate healthy but my calories were too high. Damn, it is really difficult to get back. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Yay for wrestling this to the ground, Matt.

My victory today is that I've had no off-plan tree nuts. Actually, not so big a deal because it's the weekends where tree nuts have been attacking me.
