I've been on Medifast since November. I am 10 lbs from my goal and feel stuck! Just came off of vacation and didn't stay OP so I am starting over as of yesterday. I'll post a weigh in next week

I am down 35 pounds! I haven't visited this website very often lately, so I'm excited to see more people on it! My hubby is also down 35 pounds and he went from a size 38 waist to a size 32 waist! He looks amazing!

8/22: -1lb. Progressing slowly. I'm blaming the alcohol. I just need to say "NO".

Hi everyone,

Tomorrow is the last day of my first week - I'm excited for my weigh-in Thursday morning and also to have the first week over with! This is my second time doing Medifast, and I'm finding it to be a little bit more difficult than last time. Does anyone else notice that it's easier to do this diet successfully when they're really busy? I've had some down time and also work from home, and unfortunately it has given me a lot of time to obsess about food. 😆

Quick question for everyone on plan - when should exercise be added in? I was planning to wait until week 3, or at least until I was feeling less tired, but I have a gym membership I should really be utilizing. ☺️

Thanks, and good luck with your weigh-ins!

Plan says to wait 2-3 weeks if you haven't been working out at all. However, my dietician encouraged me to start after my first week: 30mins walking 3x a week. I gradually increased it to 45mins 5x a week now and she was ok with it. However, instead of the gym, I am doing Leslie Sasone's mega miles which includes some resistance training. I started to incorporate 10lb weights 2x a week for the last 2 weeks because at my month scan, I lost 1lb of muscle. I did see a slow in my weight loss but I can't tell if that's from the weights or me cheating with food.

Just wondering if you are going to a clinic since you said a "dietician"? I just know what happens to my body regarding weight loss on this program if I am working out. I definitely would say that if you aren't losing weight consistently when working out IF you are on plan, then I would not work out so much. My husband hasn't worked out at all and is right at goal after losing 40 pounds! I think the walking seems to be best for me even though I really like to pump iron and run... but I don't lose weight consistently doing that while on the Medifast 5 + 1 plan. Hope this helps!

I gained 3lbs at Saturday's weigh in. I'm not changing my ticker since I am blaming TOM. Hoping my #'s this Saturday will be much better.
