Default Wine on Medifast

I started my MF plan about 2 weeks ago. I have lost 5 lbs so far. However, I just can't seem to give up my wine. I attend a lot of social functions where alcohol is served. I am limiting myself to 2 glasses at these functions, but I am wondering if I can continue to lose while cheating with wine. I realize the weight lose will be slower.

I would take off 1 shake and 1 "snack/treat" every day that I had wine.

Thanks. I have been eliminating 1 MF meal when I drink wine. Maybe I should take off 2. I don't have daily snack/treat...just one occasionally. I'm trying to drink water with lime, but I really enjoy the wine.

Just wanted to bump this since I just snuck in a glass of wine. I cut out two of my MF meals to try to balance it out.

i cut out a MF meal when i am planning on having wine, which is usually just 1 or 2 glasses once a week! it has not seemed to change the weight loss.
