I stuck to the plan 100% for my first week and it paid off.
My weight today is 192 ! I knew this would work but I never thought I would lose 13 pounds during my first week.
I think part, a big part of it , is to drink lots and lots of water. I drank 120 ounces a day. Flush all the fat right outta here !
It's been so nice meeting so many others on this plan.
Your stories and support got me through the first week.

Wow! That is really impressive! Good for you! But you know, although it's important to drink enough water, it's really the foods.
skye8080, when first starting on Medifast, one is supposed to cut back on exercise if already working out. Or if not an exerciser, you're supposed to wait awhile before you start, and then start slow. Medifast switches your metabolism, and that takes time to adjust.

Skye - I am and always have been a walker. I stopped when I started MediFast because I was so tired. I will start up again as soon as the energy comes back. I still take a daily walk of about a mile a day.
JayEll - I know it's the food...and the water just flushes all the bad stuff out. And I have a lot of bad stuff. Thanks for the encouragement.
Honestly..... The Medifast Plan is so easy. It's a no brainer. I wish I had started it last year when I first thought of it.
Congrats! That is impressive. Because I have much less to lose, my first few weeks are much less impressive, but I'll take the 2.5-3 pounds a week anytime!!!
