One Month Down :D
Today was weigh-in day, and wow! Another 3 lbs. down! This makes a total of 21 lbs. lost during my first month.
I sure feel the difference. Walking is easier. I feel a bit more energetic. My appetite is mostly gone, but I'm debating if this is a good thing. Some days it's really damn hard to make myself eat!
I'll start exercising now. Dusted off my kettle bell. I think it will be perfect. Cardio and weight training all in one. Of course, I expect to not be able to do too much at once, but I do like to slap on the head phones, blast my Pandora stations and dance, so it's all good. I also expect the weight loss to slow a bit, but if it's steady, yay! I mean, I can't expect to drop over 20 lbs. a month every month, lol. (Although, that would rock )

Congratulations! That is impressive. I'm hoping that when I hit my one month I'm at least 12 down, but I hit a stall during week 3, so we'll see what happens.

Great Results ! I am so happy for you ! I hope to lose at least 20 lbs this first month. I need to show the hubby that it is worth the price. As long as I lose weight he won't complain.

Wow, 21 lbs! That's so impressive-- and really inspiring. I'm on Day 12, and so far I'm down 9.6 lbs. Its gotten MUCH easier this second week, but its still not a walk in the park, by any means.

Way to go, Spindizzie and MairsieD! I'm 6 weeks in and down 22 pounds, and I've cheated a couple times. But I stuck to it all this week, and lost 4 pounds!
It's getting to be habit now, and I love how little time I spend at the grocery store now.
Good luck to you all - we can do this!

Um...thanks, Irishka, but it's not luck, lol. It's about 900 calories a day, tons of liquids, very low carb/fat, and a lot to lose.

If you are following the program, and you eat all five MF meals and the recommended L&G, and an allowed snack, condiments, etc., you should be between 800 and 1000 calories, between 80 to 100 carbs, and your protein will depend on which version of shake you use and what type of lean you choose for your L&G. If you go to the Medifast site, they have all kinds of info about the program. http://www.medifast1.com/support_too..._and_tools.jsp

Hey! I'm just past 1 month of my "modified" Medifast-type program, and I am down 10 pounds. That is the fastest I have ever dropped weight. I'm sure if I had been able to use the Medifast foods, I would have lost even more!

Jay! I have been off the boards for a few weeks, so last I heard you had to stop due to a soy protein issue. You found a work-around? How phenomenal that you found something that is working for you!!! YAY!
