WTG Jay (and everyone else)!

I've kind of lost count as to where I am...I'm thinking 4 weeks will be up on Thursday morning (or will that be 5 weeks??). Anyway, down 10.5 as of this morning, so I can't complain!

There comes a time when we all need to stop saying "I wish" or "I will", and start saying "I am", so we can later say "I did".

Well, I'm one month down today and so far I'm holding steady at 10.5 pounds lost. I haven't lost anything this week and I'm not sure why, although I tend to lose more on the weekends for some strange reason.

But I'm still happy with 10.5 off! Lets hope for another 10 this month!

I sure feel the difference. Walking is easier. I feel a bit more energetic. My appetite is mostly gone, but I'm debating if this is a good thing. Some days it's really damn hard to make myself eat!
I'll start exercising now. Dusted off my kettle bell. I think it will be perfect. Cardio and weight training all in one. Of course, I expect to not be able to do too much at once, but I do like to slap on the head phones, blast my Pandora stations and dance, so it's all good. I also expect the weight loss to slow a bit, but if it's steady, yay! I mean, I can't expect to drop over 20 lbs. a month every month, lol. (Although, that would rock )
If u like 2 dance, try Zumba! It is a fantastic, fat-burning dance party! I took my first class last night, and man, what a fun, high energy, motivational workout! Plus u can buy the sexy coin skirts that shake and shimmy w/ every twist of your hips for a minuscle $12 (at least in VA!)
Give it a try -- it's an awesome way to destress, unwind, whittle the waist, and act like a complete freakin' idiot w/ others doing the same thing and loving it!!!! Our class is mostly 30+ women and we really let it all hang loose! Awesome fun!!! Best wishes for continued success!

Talking Over 50 Lbs. Lost in 10 Weeks on MF

Hey! Give hubby these stats: In 10 weeks on Medifast, I lost 52 pounds! Also, bp and cholesterol at healthy levels now -- big savings on meds! This plan works if you follow it to a T, read Dr. A's Habits of Health book, and drink as much water as you can hold! My main exercise thus far has been moderately paced walking my large lab/small pony. Good luck to you, and I hope my results will help convert hubby! I find the price of the meals to be reasonable when I know in the long run I will save money on (lack of) meds, and eventually a lower health insurance rate. Not to mention, how can you put a price on better self-esteem / self-confidence, and attaining a longer, healthier, happier life? Best wishes....I believe in you!
