Default Question - Anyone feel unusually anxious when beginning Medifast?

Hi All,

I am so glad to have found this forum! It's day 6 of the program for me and so far so good. (Don't own a scale but have lost 1 inch from my waist! I'm 55-yr old woman that needs to lose about 60 lbs mainly for health reasons but also as my daughter is getting married this Fall.) I have gotten used to the taste of the food and even like some of it, especially the banana-flavored ones. After the first few days, the soy aftertaste stopped bothering me.

My question is has anyone experienced bouts of anxiety when initiating this diet? I have been sensitive to caffeine for years and so mainly stick to decaffeinated beverages with occasional soda (have only had 1 diet soda all week). For the first 3 days of the plan I was unusually calm for me. This is great as I have a high-stress job. However, yesterday especially and somewhat today, I have been "jumping ourt of my skin." Is this something to be expected. Just wondering.
