Default Medifast with items from grocery?

Is this possible to do?

Money is very tight, and I simply don't have cash to buy medifast items online. But I do get food stamps, so I'm trying to do the plan with items I can buy myself.

Right now I'm using Slim-fast since I can get that, but the dairy in it is not agreeing with me.

Anyone else done it? I don't mine going slightly higher cal - right now I'm losing with around 1500 cal a day on slimfast.

I haven't. I think Slim Fast is high carb. Maybe you could find a low carb protein powder?

I would say keep the Lean & green the same (measure it). And space your eating 2-3 hours apart in 5 small meals and 1 L&G. But what to eat for the 5 small meals? I think I saw something about this on the Medifast site's support boards, have you checked there?

I noticed there were 33 views of this thread so people MUST be coming here... but no one is posting much. I'd love to see this board become more active!

Remember that we have lots of folks who read but are not registered. That could account for some of the views.

There is already a thread on this - Non-Medifast Brands for Substitution. It has a lot of ideas.
