I am average 2 -2.5 a week since I started. I just started exercising 2 days ago so not sure if that will slow things down while I build muscle or speed things up because I am more active. I am constantly on the go in my business so not a couch potato, just never made time to really exercise until now.

I've always been a slower loser and my first month I lost 9 lbs and so far total in 6 weeks I've lost 13 lbs, which for 6 weeks is just over 2 lbs for me- I don't have as much to lose as most medifaster's so I'm fine with the loss being slower- even if I average 2 lbs a week during the course of my lost it's STILL faster than it's taken me the past year to lose!
Just keep it up- how much have you lost?
Remember it took a while to gain all that weight it's going to take some time to lose it. There was a woman on the medifast chat the other day- had only 20 lbs to lose and was expecting to lose 10 lbs a MONTH and when she lost like 2 lbs the first week she was so mad- I was like dude take it easy- this isn't a diet that just rips the pounds away from you- specially when you have only 20 lbs to go!

I just did my weigh in after my first week on medifast and I lost 11 pounds!!! I know it won't keep up like this, but it's really encouraging to see such a big loss.

I'm on my 2nd week. I lost 6lbs last week. I feel like it's been super slow this week. Dietician ok'd walking 3x30mins this week so, I've started that too. At this point, I'll be super happy to see -2lbs each week until goal.

Depends
Depends. In week 4. I kind of had a "3 week stall" (I think around the time the body realizes it can create glycogen stores from protein) and when I retain water I REALLY retain with bloated fingers and all. If I were to go just based on official weigh-ins (averaged don't remember the fist 2 weeks ounces)
-3lbs something Oz
-3 lbs something ounces
-.8 lb (after actually going UP for most of the week, the day after weigh-in I lost 2 lbs in water I was retaining)
-3 lbs 11 oz

For week 2, lost 4 pounds. I am not very strict on the evening meal yet. But I will keep on it. I will go in and change my signature to reflect it.

So I am half way to my mini goal. I thought I would take it in chunks since I have a long way to go...

I just finished my first week and lost 4lbs. I used to lose around 6-7 in the first two weeks, so I'm trying hard not to get too discouraged. I think there's a lot of factors that come into play (water intake, food, etc), so everyone's different.

I just posted on the week 1 thread and should have posted here. I had a bad weekend but still lost 2 pounds this past week! So I will try to have perfect days this week.

Well I gained a pound this week...grrr...I had 5 good days and 2 not so good days..but I didn't think they were that bad! Oh well, another week to get it right. I do feel good though and I don't feel up a pound, so maybe it will come off easily. I don't have the heart to change my ticker, so I will keep it until next week and hopefully move it in the right direction.
