Default a reminder to Medifast health coaches and advisors

Everyone is probably aware that we reviewed Medifast and liked the plan, and we encourage anyone who is on Medifast to post and help support each other.

We are aware that there are Medifast "health advisers" which are not employees of Medifast, but who work as individuals that sell Medifast and offer advice to customers. In a way, this is similar to Avon sales.

After careful consideration, we have decided against allowing Medifast health advisers to offer their services on our forum. This is to prevent anyone from posting in a competitive manner, and to discourage the use of our forum for anything other than mutual support without additional motive. This follows along the long-time policy of disallowing Avon and similar sales promotion here.

Thanks

Added: We have banned several members (newbies) for sending PMs to our Medifast members offering services as a Medifast health coach. This is very much against our rules and anyone who does this will be banned without notice.

If you receive a PM with similar offers, please forward it to me. Your identity will remain confidential. This helps our community as a whole because it deters people from signing up with the goal of making money and without the same intentions as other members, as mentioned above.

We also ask that if you are a coach or adviser, that you not even mention it on the forum or via PM or you may be banned. Please consider it something you do on your own time, and not ours

If you have questions, please feel free to PM me

It's a sticky but I'm bumping it anyway Please remember that the rules are clear enough so that if you promote yourself as a health coach, you will be banned on sight. It is very important that this remain a support site and not a haven for sales reps.
